Cookies on this website

Optional advertising services are off by default. The banner lets you accept all, reject all, or choose Google Ads and Meta Pixel separately. Where a service is enabled, its script loads only after you permit that service.

Rejecting optional services does not prevent you from browsing machinery, comparing models or preparing an enquiry. The website does not treat browsing, scrolling or closing the preferences panel as consent.

The preference system uses local storage to remember your decision. This record is necessary to respect your choices; it is not an advertising identifier.

How we remember your choice

After you make a choice, we save the selected services, the time of your decision and the version of the settings under norkam_cookie_consent_v1 in your browser. It expires after 180 days. A significant settings change or a change to the configured advertising accounts requires a new choice.

Open Cookie settings in the footer or on this page whenever you want to change or withdraw permission. Refusal is remembered in the same way as acceptance.

If your browser blocks this storage, your choice may apply only to the current visit. Optional services remain off until you choose again on a later visit.

Optional advertising services

Google Ads: if enabled and allowed, Google can measure advertising and support personalised NORKAM advertising. The integration uses basic Consent Mode: it does not load the Google tag before permission. Standalone Google Analytics is not enabled by this integration.

Meta Pixel: if enabled and allowed, Meta can measure website visits and support NORKAM advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The integration does not send enquiry form entries or use automatic advanced matching.

These providers may use cookies and other identifiers. Exact cookie names, domains, retention and provider settings depend on the activated services and must be checked against the live configuration before publication.

Withdrawing permission

Choose Reject all in Cookie settings to stop both optional services, or switch off only the service you no longer want. The page reloads when needed so that previously loaded advertising code stops running.

We remove accessible first-party cookies belonging to the service you disable. The website cannot remove cookies belonging to Google or Meta domains, or erase information already sent to a provider. Your browser settings and the providers' privacy controls can help with those records.

Selections and enquiry details

The machine selector, comparison choices and enquiry form use temporary page state. The website does not save those choices in local storage or session storage to recognise you on a later visit.

Some links include the requested machine or enquiry type in the page address, so the contact page can show the relevant selection. Form entries are not added to that page address or sent to a website database.

The enquiry form submits entries to our hosting server for email delivery. Its verification token stays in page memory and does not set a cookie or use local or session storage. Temporary server-side anti-abuse records and email processing are described in the privacy policy. Browser autofill is controlled by your browser.

Your browser controls

Your browser provides settings for viewing or clearing cookies and other stored website data. Clearing that data for this website does not delete a message already sent by email or a draft held by your email provider.

A browser can also cache files to load pages more quickly. Ordinary file caching is different from the website setting a cookie to recognise a visitor.

If the website changes

We update this notice when services change. Before enabling new cookies, advertising or additional services, we check their purposes, providers and retention and update the choices where needed. Existing permission is not used to silently activate a different advertising account.

Our hosting provider, 123 Reg, may process technical information needed to deliver pages or maintain security. Details of that processing belong in the privacy notice, even when no cookies are used.
